Artist's Statement
|
|
Marla Brown resides in the remote mountain community of Valley of Enchantment, at Crestline, in the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California. Here, and the adjoining High Desert scenery manifests her inspiration in her renown watercolors.
Her unique style, a watercolor technique of "glazing" produces the vividly brilliant colors her work is known for. A master at her craft for over 30 years, her paintings in Wildlife, Landscapes, Still Life, Florals and Portraits are sought after by collectors world wide.
